Expert Support for Grief & Life Transitions

Welcome
Although grieving by nature is a very lonely path, it is an interpersonal process that involves the presence of others. We may never fully understand the predicament of our life, our losses, and our pains, but we can open ourselves to the process of deep listening. Engaging within enhances the richness of our lives, the complexities of who we are. I offer you a place where griefs of the past can be heard. Shattered dreams can be expressed. Longings can be acknowledged and felt. Nostalgia can be taken seriously and investigated with full attention. A place where night dreams can be taken seriously, family themes and their own personal mythology can be studied. Our modern and fast-paced world can often pull us away from the deep mystery within. I offer you a safe place for this mystery within to be not only honored but invited into your life.
Hi there, I'm glad you're here.
My name is Jacob Jett, MDiv, BCC
I provide a compassionate space to process grief, loss, and life’s deeper questions with full attention and care. Loss is more frequent and varied than we often acknowledge. While we readily recognize grief in the wake of death, many other losses shape us in profound ways—some so subtle they go unnoticed. The first pet we loved as a child, a cherished ring that carried meaning we misplaced years ago, the apartments and landscapes that once felt like home—each departure leaves an imprint.
The losses we do not tend to with intention can sometimes weigh on us the most. Grief is not reserved for life’s most obvious tragedies; it is a natural response to any significant change or severance. I help you explore past and present griefs, unspoken longings, and the personal narratives that shape who you are.
In a world that rushes past grief, I offer deep listening, reflection, and support. Here, your emotions are honored, your journey witnessed with care. Grief is not something to be solved but something to be lived through.

My Story
Loss has shaped my life from an early age, teaching me firsthand the profound impact grief has on our hearts, minds, and relationships. My own experiences led me to seek meaning in the face of loss, eventually guiding me toward hospice volunteering in my early 20s. That work became a calling—supporting individuals and families navigating death, dying, and bereavement.
For nearly 18 years, I have worked as an emotional, spiritual, and grief support counselor, walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult moments. I provide support to those experiencing loss, whether from death, illness, or major life transitions. My approach is grounded in deep empathy, professional expertise, and a belief that no one should have to face grief alone.
